Give a customer access to their portal
EnglishUpdated Sep 13, 2026
The customer portal lets a vehicle owner view their own workshop records. It uses a separate customer login; it is not an employee account or the Orions360 Support Hub staff login.
Set up access as workshop staff
- Open the correct customer record and check their email address.
- Use Set Portal Password.
- Enter New Password and Confirm Password, then save through the dialog. The portal-password setting requires at least six characters; choose a stronger password suitable for your customer-access process.
- Obtain the Portal Login URL from Configuration → Company Settings.
- Share the customer's access details privately and explain that this is the workshop customer portal.
Setting a password is the access mechanism in this workflow. Do not look for an assumed Portal Access Enabled checkbox on the customer form.
Use the portal as a customer
- Open the workshop's portal address.
- Enter the email address recorded by the workshop and your portal password.
- Use the dashboard and available Work Orders, Invoices and Vehicles pages to review your records.
- Open a specific record for more information, or use Profile for the available contact/password updates.
What happens next
You can review records associated with your customer account. Viewing a document does not authorise new work or make a payment. For a new visit, use the workshop's booking link or contact the team.
Troubleshooting
If sign-in fails, ask the workshop to confirm the recorded email and reset the portal password. A staff password-reset link is not a portal password reset. If an invoice or advance amount looks inconsistent, ask staff to check the issued invoice and full payment history rather than relying solely on the portal summary.
