Fix email, WhatsApp, shared-link and print problems
EnglishUpdated Sep 13, 2026
A business record can save even when its notification fails. Check the record first so that retrying a message does not duplicate the underlying work or payment.
An email did not arrive
- Confirm the recipient address on the customer or employee record.
- Check the recipient's spam folder.
- Ask an authorised administrator to open Email Settings → Send Logs.
- Check that the intended template is enabled and the correct mail connection is active.
- Use Check connection for SMTP and a separate Send test email to an address you control.
Connection success checks access to the mail service; it does not guarantee that a customer's mailbox accepted the message.
WhatsApp says the link was copied
Read the full result. It may say the customer has no phone number or the provider did not send. Open the copied link to verify the intended record, then paste it into the correct customer conversation. Copying is not sending.
If automated sending keeps failing, check the active provider, sending number, credentials, permitted destinations and any configured templates. A phone's WhatsApp Business app alone does not configure SAM's provider connection.
A shared page is expired or incorrect
Ask staff to reopen the source record and obtain the correct current link. Employee access links work once and expire after 48 hours. Document-share links display their own expiry. Never change random parts of a link to find a different customer's document.
If an estimate link shows unexpected work, pause approval and ask the administrator to check the quote linked to the visit.
A PDF or print preview is blank
Reopen the document, wait for the preview and check the chosen template and language. If the generated PDF remains incomplete, contact support with the reference and settings. Do not issue or delete another invoice to solve a rendering problem.
