Start using SAM: free trial, demo and setup for a new workshop

This guide is for a workshop that does not have SAM (Smart Auto Manager) yet. It explains how to start the free trial yourself, what the trial includes, and how to ask to be shown SAM first.
Who this is for
Use this guide if your workshop has no SAM account. You do not need an invitation. You can create the workshop account yourself.
If your workshop already uses SAM and you only need a login, go to the last section of this guide.
Start the free trial yourself
- Open https://app.autoshopstack.com/register. You can also open https://app.autoshopstack.com and select Start 14-day free trial or Create your workshop.
- Enter your Workshop Name.
- Choose Your Workshop URL. This is your workshop's address. It ends in
.autoshopstack.com. - Under Admin account, enter Your Name, Email Address, Password and Confirm Password. The password needs at least 8 characters.
- Under How do you want to start?, choose one option:
- With sample data — pre-loaded vehicles, job cards and invoices to explore.
- Blank workshop — start clean.
- Select Start Free Trial.
No credit card is required.
Keep your workshop URL, email address and password. You need them to sign in. When you are ready to run a real job, follow Your first workshop job.
What the free trial includes
- It lasts 14 days.
- No credit card is required.
- You can extend it once, by 14 more days. Plans, trials and billing explains when the extension is offered.
It is a capped trial. During the trial, one workshop can have up to:
- 100 work orders
- 150 job orders
- 50 customers
- 100 vehicles
- 5 staff
- 100 invoices
- 10 questions to Sami, shared by the whole workshop
Accounting, fleet and insurance are read-only during the trial. You can view them, but you cannot add or change records.
Prefer to be shown first?
You do not have to start alone. The Orions360 founders can give you a demo and set SAM up at your garage, with your workshop's lists loaded and your team trained.
- Lists are things like your customers, vehicles and parts.
- Past invoices, job history and photos stay in your old system.
- If you are in Abu Dhabi, the founders come to your garage. If you are elsewhere, ask for a demo on a call.

Already at a workshop that uses SAM?
Do not create a new workshop. Ask the person who created your workshop's SAM account to add you and send your login link. They can follow Add an employee and send their login link.
