Fix login, missing-menu and access problems

EnglishUpdated Sep 13, 2026

Start by identifying whether the problem is the login, staff permissions or workshop subscription. These require different fixes.

I cannot sign in

  1. Check that you are opening your workshop's staff login, not a different workshop or the customer portal.
  2. Confirm the email address with your administrator.
  3. Use Forgot Password? if you cannot recall the staff password.
  4. For an employee invitation, use the newest access link. It works once and expires after 48 hours.

If email does not arrive, check spam and ask the administrator to inspect email settings and logs. Do not repeatedly create staff accounts for the same person.

I signed in, but a menu or action is missing

  1. Ask the administrator to review your effective role permissions.
  2. Check whether the action needs more than viewing access—for example, booking management or invoice issue.
  3. Check whether the workshop's plan includes the feature.
  4. Refresh your session after an authorised access change.

Technicians normally see My Work rather than the complete advisor navigation. A hidden salary or cost figure is an access restriction, not a zero value.

I can read records but cannot save

An expired trial can block writes while leaving reads available. An eligible administrator can review Plan & Billing and the extension or upgrade options. A suspended account requires support assistance.

If only one old record refuses changes, check its status: an issued invoice, invoiced job or completed inspection may be deliberately locked.

If the problem continues

Provide support with the workshop address, page, time, exact error and action you were trying to perform. Include your role name if known. Do not send passwords, access links or provider keys.
