Review preventive maintenance and record a driver handover

EnglishUpdated Sep 13, 2026

The PM Board tracks configured mileage-based maintenance schedules. Driver handovers record a vehicle's condition and odometer at a shift change. These are different from a customer repair invoice.

Review maintenance

  1. Open Workshop → PM Board.
  2. Use All, Overdue, Due Soon or Upcoming, and search by plate or service.
  3. Compare Due at, Now at and the last recorded service.
  4. After the service has actually been completed, use Mark Done, enter the completion mileage and confirm.

Completion updates the last-service information and calculates the next due mileage from the interval. A higher completion reading can update the vehicle's odometer.

The Add WO option is part of this completion flow and can also create a work order. Do not use it merely to plan future work if the service has not been done. For an empty PM Board, ask the administrator to confirm schedule setup; the available schedule-editor entry point may differ by deployment.

Record a driver handover

  1. Open the workshop's provided driver-handover page.
  2. Look up the plate and confirm the vehicle shown.
  3. Enter Handed By, Received By and Odometer Reading (km).
  4. Record Fuel Level, or Battery Level (%) where appropriate, plus Vehicle Condition and any damage notes.
  5. Review carefully and use Submit Handover.

The handover form is a public form, not a staff-authenticated identity check. Use the correct vehicle and actual reading. The form refuses a reading lower than the last displayed odometer.

What happens next

The handover is saved, a higher reading updates mileage, and PM alerts can appear. The workshop notification is a courtesy; urgent damage or safety concerns should also be reported directly to the workshop.
